WASHINGTON, D.C. - Back in January 2023 the Epoch Times published an article detailing China's alleged role in running an operation that is dedicated to getting the American people addicted to illegal drugs.
Experts say that China remains the primary source of the precursor chemicals, which are then processed and manufactured into synthetic opioids by Mexican drug cartels who bring it into the interior of the United States. Since 2019, data shows that fentanyl overdose has become the leading cause of death among young Americans.
According to Just the News, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has substantial evidence dating back to the early 2010s of Beijing's role in flooding the United States with a wide range of addictive and harmful drugs.
Experts have also said that there is growing evidence that communist China has launched concerted operations to "hook" Americans on illegal, harmful drugs as part of a larger effort to overthrow the United States as the world's number one country of superpower.
Fentanyl is a powerful synthetic opioid, which is up to 50 times more potent than heroin and up to 100 times stronger than morphine. Manufacturers of illegal drugs add fentanyl to heroin, cocaine, methamphetamines and other drugs to make the drugs more powerful and cheaper to produce.
According to Centers for Disease and Control (CDC) data compiled by the U.S. advocacy group Families Against Fentanyl, the drug has remained the leading cause of death for Americans aged between 18 and 45 since 2019. In 2021, the number of drug overdose deaths in the United States surpassed 100,000. Illicit fentanyl accounted for over 64,000 of those deaths.
Adding to the fentanyl problem is the lack of border control by the Biden administration. Without border control, these operations have killed tens of thousands of Americans from fentanyl poisoning alone. The National Center for Health Statistics reported that drug overdose death rates involvong fentanyl increased by 279 percent from 5.7 per 100,000 in 2016 to 21.6 in 2021.
In a statement to Just the News, former DEA Chief of Special Operations Derek Maltz Sr., said, "I'm just saying that from a strategic plan of the CCP, it's a brilliant concept that if we can get into America and sell this very pure marijuana and destroy Americans' brains, so then they go to pills and other drugs, that's a brilliant, unrestricted warfare."
Police entities from California to Maine have reportedly busted Chinese nationals operating illegal marijuana growing sites. Maltz added, "When you look at the Chinese Communist Party and you look at the role of China and their criminal networks in the overall drug crisis in America — because people are not connecting the dots — this is way bigger than just a bunch of, you know, illegally selling marijuana up in Maine. First of all, it's all over the country. It's not just Maine, Oklahoma, Oregon, Washington State, California. And, you know, all the different states."
On Tuesday, November 28th, police in Wilton, Maine, conducted a raid on a 10,000-foot commercial complex. The Maine Wire said that it was an "illegal Chinese marijuana operation" were $1 million in cannabis was seized. Additionally, four men of Asian descent were arrested.
Months prior, in Carme, Maine, police found a major marijuana grow in a vacant house where they seized 3,400 plants and 111 pounds of pot. Police arrested a group of Chinese nationals in that incident.
Raids and arrests are popping up all across the country. This type of criminal activity, along with espionage and cyber hacking, was part of a "stark warning" that Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director Christopher Wray issued about America's number one threat being Communist China.
In September, he said, "I've been very vocal since early in my tenure that there is no country, underline no country, that represents a broader, more severe counterintelligence threat to the United States than the People's Republic of China."

It is more than just the Mexican cartel and China. It's our own govt. The CIA has been selling illegal drugs to Americans for 50 years or more. It is OUR govt that has been working with Mexican Cartel to make the drugs more addictive, more powerful, and more dangerous. Our own 3 letter agencies (all of them) are intentionally bringing down the US. They have done everything from get people addicted to drugs, to killing them, to changing our laws so there is nothing we can do about it, to dumbing down Gen Z to an insane level. The country is already gone. Nothing is bringing it back at this point. Gen Z is the only generation in the history of the US that is ignorant, under educated, mentally ill (and proud of it), unable to support themselves, they are so fat that the military now has boot camp for fatso's. They don't know their own genders, they don't know how to fight the govt, they don't know how to find their way out of a paper bag. The country is gone. Everyone knows it, stop blaming China. Our own govt did this. Who do you think is HELPING CHINA??
