Georgia Homicide Investigated Amid California Triple Killing

NORCROSS, GA - Police are actively investigating a domestic-related homicide that left one person dead. The incident took place at a home on Pine Oak Drive, 11Alive reported. Norcross Police said that it initially responded to a call about a person down.

Once on scene, the police department's criminal investigators division started its investigation and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation began analyzing the crime scene. Police found one victim and a man, whose identity has yet to be released, was arrested and charged with malice murder. The investigation remains ongoing.

Police found three people dead inside of a Rolling Hills, California home on Saturday afternoon, August 23rd. Early investigation indicates that it may have been a domestic violence incident, CBS News reported. 

According to a news release from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department (LASD), deputies were called to the 100 block of Crest Road East around 10:20 am after receiving a call from a family member of the victims. 

The caller informed detectives that her sister and father were both dead inside of the home. While clearing the location, deputies also found another woman who was dead. All three victims are adults, LASD said. "Based on the investigator's initial, ongoing investigation, this incident appears to be a domestic violence related murder-suicide, and there is no threat to the community," deputies said.

None of the victims have yet to be identified and the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation. Anyone who knows more is asked to contact LASD's Homicide Bureau at 323-890-5500.
