Just shut up and ski. A washed-up skier who received a silver medal for the United States at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Russia needs to learn that making stupid comments has consequences.
The Blaze reports that last week, Gus Kenworthy took to social media to show his followers how to contact the Senate to complain about Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), including a sample script they could use:
“Innocent people have been murdered, and enough is enough. We can’t wait around while ICE continues to operate with unchecked power in our communities.”
To Kenworthy’s claim that “innocent people have been murdered,” we assume he’s talking about busybodies (mother of the year) Renee Good and Alex Pretti, the unhinged loon who likes attacking ICE officers while carrying a loaded pistol. The jury is still out on whether those two were, in fact, murdered. That didn’t stop Kenworthy from claiming it was the truth.
Kenworthy also attached a photo that read “F*ck ICE” written in the snow, which appeared to be written with urine, The Blaze noted. It’s unclear if Kenworthy was using himself for writing it in urine or holding someone else’s. You can just use your imagination.
On Monday, Kenworthy posted a follow-up video in which he said that, despite now competing for Great Britain (he might want to read up on free speech suppression in that country for comparison with the US), he’s still half American and (allegedly) loves the United States.
“I care about the U.S., and I care about what’s happening there,” he stated.
But alas, Kenworthy is unhappy because of the backlash he’s received from people who truly love the United States.
“A lot of the messages have been awful; people telling me to kill myself, threatening me, wishing that they’ll get to see me blow my knee or break my neck during my event, calling me slurs. Like, it’s insane,” he whined. “And maybe that’s the price you pay for speaking up and using your platform. And so maybe this video is just going to invite more hate and vitriol, but I think it’s important to say what we feel and stand up for what we believe in and stand up to injustice.”
He added that anyone can have the freedom to “love the U.S. and be proud to be an American” while still holding the belief that “it can be better” and “improve.”
Kenworthy said that he does not support what ICE is doing and believes the agency is “absolutely evil and awful and terrifying.”
He then went on to make absurd and unsubstantiated claims that American citizens “have been murdered in the street, executed in the street, and the officers are acting with, like, impunity because their identities are covered.”
Which is done for good reason because the unhinged radical left will dox them and put their lives and the lives of their families in danger.
“There’s no accountability. It’s really scary,” he continued while making additional false claims that ICE is “racially profiling people, rounding up black and brown folks, and kidnapping them, putting them in unmarked vehicles with no arrest warrant, no probable cause.”
He appears to be getting his talking points from the Democratic National Committee. He also has zero clue how immigration laws work in the United States, as evidenced by his next statement.
“They’re being held without any sort of due process. It’s crazy. It’s scary.”
Kenworthy, who was born in Essex, England and who likely took more than a few hits on the head during his skiing career, claimed, without evidence, that the “majority” of people being picked up by ICE are “good” and “hardworking people” who are “nonviolent and have no criminal history and just came to the U.S. seeking a better life.”
He claimed that illegal aliens are “literally the foundation story of the U.S.,” once again proving that not only does he not know how the Constitution works, he also has no understanding of the founding of our country.
Kenworthy joins other ungrateful athletes who are representing the United States in criticizing the U.S., including Hunter Hess, who recently said “it’s a little hard” to be representing the U.S. and that he had “mixed emotions” about it.
“Just because I’m wearing the flag doesn’t mean I represent everything that’s going on in the U.S.,” he added.
Hess has since walked back those remarks after he, too, faced fierce criticism, including from President Donald Trump, who called him “a real loser,” the Fearless newsletter on The Blaze reported.
“I love my country,” he wrote alongside an American flag emoji.
“There is so much that is great about America, but there are always things that could be better. One of the many things that makes this country so amazing is that we have the right and the freedom to point that out,” he continued.
That meant little to boxer Jake Paul, who posted on X: “Wow pls shut the f*ck up. From all true Americans[:] If you don’t want to represent this country go live somewhere else.”
Former Green Bay Packers quarterback Brett Favre shared a statement from actor and writer David Kano: “If you don’t want to rep the USA, then give your spot to someone who does.”

Hess will end up as a ski instructor at a 2 star resort and a barista in the off season since running his mouth no product exec or major company will touch him for fear of the Bud Light effect on their company or product…Hope that was the hill you wanted to die on.
