Let’s talk “Real ID.” Did you know that all the information needed to obtain a REAL ID can be purchased, or maybe worse, stolen? Yet the Federal REAL ID Act, which became nationally effective on May 11, 2008, says that they are necessary as official identification for domestic air travel, and even access to military bases and most federal facilities.
While the information needed will vary by state, common documents needed will contain, at minimum, your full legal name, date of birth, and Social Security number. Having all three of those together anywhere unsecured is a problem. And nowhere seems to be secure anymore- especially the internet.
Data breaches abound. Many of us remember the massive data breach in 2020 that went months without detection. At first, it appeared that just the U.S. Treasury Department and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration were impacted. However, as the days went on, we learned that more departments and private organizations were impacted.
More recently, in September of 2023, the FBI had its personnel and partner databases breached. Not just once, but twice in one week.
Databases containing personal information are a huge problem. Critical, personal information stored where anyone can get to it and use it in any way that they choose.
This information becomes even more alarming when we look at our current border crisis. The Transportation and Security Administration (TSA) has partnered with US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for the use of CBP One™. This mobile application helps facilitate not only entry into the United States, but also movement about the US, including via aircraft.
Access to information obtained during a data breach, which can be purchased on the dark web or a with quick visit to a site like buypassportsonline.com, and you can pretty much be whoever you want to be and move about freely in this country. TSA and CBP bypass any protections in place to keep United States citizens safe.
This should light a fire inside every single American. And the information above is exactly why we need HD Barcode™ and their solutions for positive identification. This technology is innovative. Unlike a public QR Code, allowing anyone to create a fake code, each agency is provided their own code generator, authorization code, with the ability to create their own password.
They can also use HD Barcode™’s SDK to customize their application, allowing only authorized reading devices like a Smartphone or pc the ability to read their codes. In addition, the software can be set up to require multi-level authentication, where an officer has to scan their own code first, before reading the individual’s code. Once a user’s code is created, there is no need for a database and only the user maintains the encrypted code.
Further, the technology is so secure that an internet connection is not needed to access the information on the barcode, and these barcodes cannot be duplicated. Thus, eliminating the risk of your information landing in the wrong hands.
While TSA is still evaluating the use of biometrics for authentication, HD Barcode™ is incorporating biometrics already, via HD CypherCodes, which is currently available. These can be on a REAL ID if an agency does not want to use biometric information. It is as simple as uploading a photo that cannot be changed. This is ideal for communities that do not want to allow biometrics for identification.
HD Barcode™ was invented and patented right here in the United States and can embed up to 703 KB of data. For comparison, an HD Barcode™ can embed up to 50,000 times the data of a retail UPC product code. Even a QR code only holds 3KB and the PDF417 on the current license holds 1KB of data.
Let’s also look at HD Barcode’s Life Preserver™ component. This software allows first responders access to vital, and voluntary, medical information, when seconds count. All using a proprietary app. You simply add the information that you want to the ID and the information shared stays right with you! No HIPPA violations! Things like allergies, blood type, medications, emergency contacts, religious council, and more. Labels can be placed on refrigerators, ID’s, front doors, or driver’s licenses.
HD Code Blue™ takes those very same safeguards in “HD Life Preserver™” and applies them specifically to law enforcement officers. These barcodes can be printed on or applied directly to the officer’s identification card using a small industrial and waterproof Teslin® label. In the case of lost or stolen ID cards, all information on the barcode is unreadable to the public, ensuring the officer’s privacy. And again, since the information provided is voluntary, HIPPA regulations are a non-issue.
Our citizens need HD Barcode™. Our law enforcement officers need HD Code Blue™. Now, more than ever, keeping vital personal information secure is necessary. And HD Barcode™ can be a solution to that problem.
Gary Parish, the Managing Director, spent 10 years as a Police Officer and as a Detective for a County Police Department. Parish did the background investigations for a number of applicants that were hired and became excellent, dedicated officers. Four were killed in the line of duty. HD Code Blue™ was created to assist in having immediate access to that data if the Officer is incapacitated, as well as being able to contact family members, before it is seen by the media and broadcast. Parish plans to donate a portion of sales to assist first responder families.

OUTRAGIOUS! If this was not a a long term well planned disaster for America and Americans by the Democrats and Joe Biden's mercenary advisors to Joe Biden at expense of American ideals, i don't know what it is. The man and the party have been allowed to become traitors and uses obscure laws to hide behind. The man must be relieved of his duties before the elections.
