WASHINGTON, DC – In a bid to deliver on campaign promises, the Trump administration announced in a late October press release through Homeland Security the ongoing progress amid intense immigration enforcement to apprehend the “worst of the worst” criminal illegal aliens residing within the country.
Homeland Security issued an October 28th press release detailing the apprehension of five criminal illegal aliens that the department stated were among the “worst of the worst” sought in the current administration’s immigration enforcement operations. The five apprehended individuals in question hosted a variety of criminal convictions ranging from drug distribution to lewd and lascivious acts with a minor.
Stemming from various enforcement operations carried out by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) across the United States, the five notable arrestees alongside their respective criminal histories are as follows:
With the agency emphasizing these apprehensions were carried out despite the “Democrats’ government shutdown,” Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin noted in a statement that ICE will continue to carry out its mission to “remove these violent illegal offenders from our streets.”
“Nothing - not even the Democrats’ government shutdown - will slow us down from arresting the worst of the worst criminal illegal aliens,” McLaughlin stated, adding, “Yesterday, the brave men and women of ICE arrested pedophiles, rapists, and kidnappers. These are the types of predators ICE is taking off of America’s streets every single day. DHS will stop at nothing to make America safe again and remove these violent illegal offenders from our streets.”
