As ICE Enforcement Ramps Up, See It Send It Bridges Citizens and Law Enforcement

As Immigration and Customs Enforcement ramps up operations nationwide, with nearly 66,500 arrests and 65,700 removals in the first 100 days of the administration, technology is emerging as a powerful ally for both communities and law enforcement agencies.

The See It Send It mobile app provides a practical solution for safe and timely reporting.

Users can geotag incidents, upload photos or videos, and transmit them directly to ICE and local enforcement, minimizing misunderstandings and preventing unverified reports from triggering unwarranted responses.

ICE Acting Director Todd Lyons and “border czar” Tom Homan have overseen some of the most robust interior enforcement efforts in U.S. history.

Under Director Lyons, agents have apprehended more than 65,000 undocumented individuals, 76 percent of whom had criminal histories, including 2,288 gang members, over 9,600 assault convictions, nearly 6,400 DUI cases, and 1,479 weapons offenses.

Lyons stated that the brave men and women of ICE protect our families, friends, and neighbors by removing public safety and national security threats from our communities.

Tom Homan, a no-nonsense enforcement leader, reports that approximately 200,000 deportations took place over a four-month period, with daily arrest targets increasing to 3,000.

His ongoing commitment to worksite enforcement, including raids on farms, hotels, and other businesses, reinforces federal priorities to crack down on illegal employment.

Both Lyons and Homan deserve commendation for steering ICE through a dynamic and challenging enforcement change.

Their strategic decisions prioritize the removal of criminals and safeguarding public safety. They maintain steady enforcement pressure, even amid political pushback and workplace sensitivities.

ICE remains responsive to real-time criminal threats, such as cartel-linked and gang-targeted operations that recently netted over 70 arrests at a nightclub in Charleston.

Their leadership continues to reinforce the importance of the rule of law and the agency’s twin missions: public safety through enforcement and removal operations, as well as investigations conducted by Homeland Security Investigations.

Under ICE Acting Director Lyons and with seasoned guidance from Tom Homan, ICE is not only delivering strong interior enforcement but is now preparing to integrate modern tools that benefit both American citizens and legal residents.

Developed to support both law enforcement and engaged citizens, See It Send It enables the collection of real-time, verifiable evidence. Geotagged video and photo submissions ensure authenticity and timeliness.

Officers receive accurate information before deployment, reducing the risk of misinterpretation.

The app’s secure submission channels direct reports to ICE and DHS-approved systems, avoiding reliance on social media rumors. This builds trust in the community, where civilians feel heard and protected, and agencies gain valuable situational reporting data.

By integrating the app into local ICE offices and sheriff precincts, enforcement becomes more community-oriented and transparent.

In addition, deployment of the app during court check-ins and worksite enforcement provides an extra layer of clarity, especially during DHS’s renewed interior enforcement push.

For law enforcement professionals and civic-minded citizens alike, adopting the See It Send It app represents a step forward in responsible, cooperative public safety.
