Illegal Alien Caught and Released by Biden Admin Charged with Stabbing Virginia Mother to Death

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA - The death toll from the Biden/Mayorkas open borders extravaganza continued this week when a Virginia woman was stabbed to death in a parking area near a Fairfax County park, authorities said, according to Fox News Digital.

On Wednesday, Fairfax County police arrested Alexis Antonio Cedillos-Campos, 19, a Salvadoran national who had been caught and released at the southern border in April 2024, a source told Fox News Digital. He was charged in the stabbing death of Carmen Lizet Puch, 42, on Monday. He is being held in the Prince George’s County jail pending extradition to Fairfax County, where he is facing charges of second-degree murder.

The latest violent crime allegedly committed by an illegal alien allowed into the country under the Biden administration’s open border policies drew outrage from the Department of Homeland Security.

“[Former President Joe] Biden and [former Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Alejandro] Mayorkas hand-delivered alleged killer Cedillos-Campos to the streets of Fairfax County. They recklessly unleashed millions of unvetted illegal aliens into American communities and abused the law to do so,” DHS said in a statement to Fox News. “President [Donald] Trump and [DHS] Secretary Markwayne Mullin are now enforcing the law, arresting illegal aliens who have no right to be in our country—and have reversed Biden’s deadly catch and release policy.”

Puch was found unconscious just off a trail in Fairfax County, located in northern Virginia. When officers arrived, they found stab wounds on her body and observed that she had been doused in gasoline. She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

“The way that she was treated by this killer was reprehensible, to say the least,” Fairfax County Police Chief Kevin Davis said in a vast understatement. He confirmed the victim and her alleged killer had an “intimate relationship” and worked together.

“We have video footage of our suspect at the restaurant where he worked with our victim arming himself with a fixed blade knife, taking a pair of black latex gloves, taking a water bottle, and then off he goes with the intent to do harm and kill the victim,” the chief continued.

Sadly, this week’s killing is not a rarity in Fairfax County, which has seen a series of violent and sexual crimes involving illegal aliens, most of whom were admitted during the Biden administration. Fairfax County is one of the most affluent counties in the country.

Puch resided in Reston, a Washington, D.C. suburb, and was the mother of a young daughter. She worked at a nearby restaurant, as did Cedillos-Campos, NBC Washington reported. She was described by people who knew her as “soft-spoken” and someone who “worked hard to support her young daughter.”

Puch was found lying beside her car by responding officers who arrived at around 6:45 a.m., sources familiar with the investigation said, noting that the victim had apparently been stabbed inside the car. It appeared the suspect tried to light her on fire after dousing her with gasoline but was not successful, police said.

Puch is just the latest victim of illegal alien crime in Fairfax County. In one case, an 18-year-old Salvadoran national and illegal alien, Israel Flores Ortiz, who entered the U.S. illegally in 2024 under Biden, was convicted this year of assault and battery in connection with the groping of several underage girls at Fairfax High School.

That was one of many homicides and violent crimes involving illegal aliens in Fairfax County who were allowed to invade the country by Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas.

Fairfax County is home to light-on-crime, Soros-funded Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano, who has been widely criticized for his soft-on-crime prosecution policies.

Gov. Abigail Spanberger, a far-left Democrat who campaigned as a moderate and was elected last November, has been slammed for her pro-illegal alien immigration policies after she gutted policies enacted by former Gov. Glenn Youngkin, a Republican, including by issuing an executive order rescinding Youngkin’s directive that state law enforcement agencies assist federal immigration authorities.

She also ordered all law enforcement agencies to terminate 287(g) agreements with ICE and signed another order prohibiting ICE from using state property as staging areas, processing locations, or operations bases.

On Wednesday, the White House slammed the Biden administration’s lax immigration policies for Cedillos-Campos being in the United States to begin with.

“This brutal killing of this mother was 100% preventable,” White House Spokeswoman Lauren Bis told Fox News. “The Biden administration released this illegal alien MURDERER into our country.”

She added that “extreme Democrat politicians’ open border policies have consequences,” highlighting murders, rapes, and other violent crimes committed against American citizens.
