Chris Darlington, an active-duty LEO and singer/songwriter is no stranger to music. He’s been writing and singing pro-police music that resonates with the LEO community.

His most recognized hit song, Hold That Line, is a moving tale that reinforces the love and support from those within the law enforcement community. It is a musical reminder that if you are a police officer, there is an army of other LEO’s who support you and have your back. Together they’ll hold that line.

The hit song came at a time when police morale was at its lowest, there lacked public support, and every police officer was labeled by the liberal community as public enemy # 1. The song is just what was needed to lift LEO spirits.

But now a new Chris Darlington song is about to take the mainstage.

Still Standing

On a recent Joe Rogan podcast, Rogan sat with the popular comedian and fellow podcaster Theo Von to discuss whatever comes up. During the interview, they dug deep into subject of law enforcement in America. They spoke of how difficult the job is, how under-appreciated cops are and why defunding police was a terrible idea.

“If you think about how hard that job [policing] is, like, hard jobs should pay more!” Rogan said to Theo Von.

Rogan also said rappers make a lot of money but being a cop is much harder, and they make much less.

Theo Von then offered a clever idea involving rappers and cops.

“I think a lot of cops will start making albums from their [police] cars,” Theo Von jokingly said. “But there should be a great producer that goes on a ride-along with a police officer – this is going to happen, watch - and make a dope track with a cop.”

Rogan added, “The cop could like be saying shit from behind the wheel and you sample that… sample that and turn them into songs.”

Just a few days ago, Chris Darlington basically did exactly that!

Darlington, an active-duty LEO, teamed up with another active-duty LEO, homicide detective and rapper Forensic and the two collaborated. They created, wrote, and sang the new and sure-to-be hit song Still Standing.

“Their song, inspired by Donald Trump’s resilience through adversity, highlights themes of unity, strength, and standing tall despite the odds. With heartfelt lyrics and a gritty delivery, the track bridges country and hip-hop to tell a story of enduring challenges for a greater cause,” a representative for Darlington’s team told LET.

The music video, which was just released and posted on YouTube, is a visual collection of Donald Trump’s experiences during his tumultuous, and often scary times running for President of the United States.

All the odds were against Trump. Most of the mainstream media was attacking him personally and professionally. They tried imprisoning him. VP Harris and her cohorts labeled him a Nazi who will take over the world as a dictator, ultimately destroying America. Blamed him for the border disaster (oh, the irony) and crazed loons even tried to assassinate Trump, coming within mere millimeters from accomplishing it.

But despite all the hurdles, challenges and threats, Trump overcame the adversity. His fortitude and determination are exactly why he is triumphant… and Still Standing.

Keep your morale high. MOST of America knows how hard your job is and we respect you for keeping us safe, for always showing up when we call. If music makes it better, I'm all for it. P.S. To James - Your comment is inappropriate, rude and wrong. Shame on you.
