For your holiday shopping pleasure, Law Enforcement Today is pleased to support the following products and businesses for the special police officer or first responder in your life. Law Enforcement Today supports the following and hopes you will prayerfully consider adding these products and services to your Christmas and holiday shopping list.
The first company we’d like to recommend is Maximus, which offers products that help men achieve peak testosterone levels. Law Enforcement Today recently featured this company on our pages, and we highly recommend its products and services.
As we've highlighted, low testosterone is a significant issue for men, particularly first responders. With testosterone levels plummeting by 65% in the past 50 years, Maximus offers a solution to help men restore their testosterone levels, a crucial aspect for first responders and military service members.
Their products range from enclomiphene to oral testosterone replacement therapy. Their team of 30+ doctors can help optimize your hormones and get your edge back.
The following product we’d like to recommend for your gift-giving consideration comes courtesy of Law Enforcement Today’s own Leah Anaya. “Police Man Daddy” is a children’s book that follows a little boy as he watches his daddy prepare himself to go out and serve. He goes to the police station for a visit, sits in a patrol car, and misses his dad when he gets ready to go to bed.
Leah Anaya, a former police officer in California and Washington State and an Army veteran, is the author of "Police Man Daddy." Her personal experience and understanding of the challenges faced by children of police officers inspired her to write this book. Leah's aim was to provide comfort to children who miss their police parent and to help them comprehend the daily experiences of their parent at work. Leah, who was medically retired, is married to a current police officer, further deepening her connection to the subject matter.
The book can be purchased on Bookshop.org. It is intended for children between two to eight years old.
Not to be outdone, Leah also wrote a book called “Police Officer Mommy.” Also intended for children between the ages of two and eight, the book follows a police officer’s day, in this case, a mother, through the eyes of a child. Chris Schafer, CEO at Tactical 16 Publishing, notes that one out of eight municipal police officers nationwide are women, according to US Department of Justice statistics. “Police Officer Mommy” can also be purchased on Amazon.
For those who wish to show their support for police officers through meaningful contributions, InVest USA is an excellent option. This 501(c)(3) non-profit organization partners with the community to provide body armor to first responders at no cost to the officer or the agency. By donating to InVest USA, you can feel a sense of duty and responsibility towards supporting law enforcement.
The company sponsors several national programs, including Bless the Vest, Pennies for Police, and Vest-A-Cop.
Bless the Vest is a non-denominational campaign to provide physical and spiritual protection to law enforcement officers nationwide. Religious congregations can adopt a local officer and provide them with body armor. A $700 target for each congregation serves as a trigger point for a new vest presentation. At that presentation, the congregation blesses the officer, their service, and their protection.
Pennies for Police engages youth with first responders, such as police officers, firefighters, and EMS. This program allows young people of all ages to take pride in their school resource officer by engaging their schools, youth organizations, etc., to bring their “Pennies (coin change they are given around the house) For Police to provide and present body armor to the officer.
Finally, Vest-A-Cop is a national program centered around adopting a first responder in your area to ensure their safety. Schools, businesses, and organizations can choose their local safety officer or other first responder and raise funds in a crowdfunding campaign to equip that first responder with a ballistic vest. While InvestUSA’s general donations fund goes to vest requests nationwide, local organizations are able to hold local fundraising to support first responders in their local community.
Our final holiday shopping recommendation is Open Carry Outdoors. The company is dedicated to “helping others” and does so through its initiative by the same name, which supports victims of natural disasters across the United States.
A popular product of theirs is a made-in-the-USA cooler with a lockable compartment. This is big because the owner can store a firearm, keys, or just about anything!
One of Open Carry Outdoors' impactful initiatives is the "Buy a Cooler, Donate a Sleeping Bag" program. For every cooler purchased, the company donates a sleeping bag to someone in crisis, whether they're victims of hurricanes, wildfires, or other disasters. This program not only provides essential comfort and protection to those in need but also allows you to contribute to a worthy cause with their purchase.
Open Carry Outdoors carries products for those who love the outdoors, from tents to large coolers, 72-hour emergency bags to backpacks and sleeping bags. Their Open Carry Cooler is manufactured in Charlotte, North Carolina, and all their products are manufactured in the U.S.A.
Please consider one of the above businesses when making Christmas or holiday purchases this month.
