ENGLEWOOD, NJ- In the famous words of Queen, “Another One Bites the Dust,” in this case, a New Jersey surgeon who reportedly cheered at work when Charlie Kirk’s murder was announced, The New York Post reports. Dr. Matthew Jung was forced to quit following last Wednesday’s incident.
Lexi Kuenzle, a nurse at Englewood Health, was suspended for calling out Jung, however, she has since been reinstated.
“We have accepted the physician’s resignation,” an Englewood Health representative told The Post.
Jung becomes the latest unhinged loon to celebrate the assassination of a husband, father of two, and conservative icon for tens of millions of people, only to lose their job.
Kuenzle alleged that Jung openly celebrated upon hearing news of Kirk’s murder in front of the hospital’s nurse’s station, then attempted to defend his words when she confronted him.
She later posted about the situation on social media and was suspended, however the hospital confirmed that she has been reinstated.
“The nurse is expected to work her scheduled shifts,” a hospital rep said, contrasting comments made by Kuenzle that she was suspended without pay.
In her post on Instagram, she wrote:
“Posted it once and I’ll post it again.
“This “DOCTOR” is a disgrace. Had the audacity to say, ‘I’m glad, he deserved it,’ in front of a PATIENT/nursing station in regards to Charlie Kirk being murdered today. You are what’s wrong with the world. Offered to ‘buy the department lunch’ as an apology. You are SICK and I’m not gunna sit back and hear it. Lmk if anyone can get this story to the news because his patients deserve to know what kind of compassion he truly lacks for human life.’”

“The nurse was never fired; was never told she would be fired by Englewood Hospital; and will not miss any pay as part of our review of this matter,” the representative said.
“Englewood Health is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all.”
Kuenzle has already filed suit in Bergen County Superior Court against the hospital, Jung and others, complaining she was wrongly suspended.
She was standing alongside Jung, with a patient on a stretcher and eight other nurses nearby, when news of Kirk’s shooting broke.
“Oh, my God! That’s terrible! I love him!” Kuenzle said, to which Jung replied, “I hate Charlie Kirk!”
“He had it coming. He deserved it,” the doctor added, according to Kuenzle.
Jung’s reaction upset Kuenzle, who reported his comments to management. When she went home that evening, she posted about it on social media, then, when she returned to work, learned she had been suspended. A union representative even told her that she probably should look for a new job.
Kuenzle previously told The Post that Jung’s comments were “mind-blowing” and left her “so angry and upset.”
Kuenzle is seeking unspecified damages in her suit, and read that “[Kuenzle] had the audacity to question how Dr. Jung can comply with the Hippocratic Oath and the American Medical Association’s Code of Medical Ethics while celebrating the murder of a non-violent Christian speaker who was on a college campus.”
