NYC: Serial Violent Offender with Over 50 Arrests Charged with Hate Crime After Brutal Anti-Asian Attacks

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A 33-year-old man who reportedly has over 50 prior arrests is currently facing hate crime charges out of New York City after authorities say he went on a string of attacks targeting Asians with unprovoked assaults this past October.

The New York Post reported on the extensive criminal history of Clive Porter, a man with an astounding 86 prior arrests who has been placed back on the streets time and time again due to New York’s “lax bail reform laws,” according to the outlet.

Regarding Porter’s latest arrest on October 29th, what authorities thought was an isolated incident involving the suspect and a victim at the Bowery and Delancey Street station turned out to be one of a string of attacks reportedly targeting Asians across the city.

Police took Porter into custody roughly an hour after the alleged October 29th assault, which occurred at 4:00 p.m. at the Bowery and Delancey Street station, where a 45-year-old man was reportedly punched by Porter, sending the victim flying onto the tracks. Porter allegedly said, “Asian f*ck,” before fleeing from the scene of the incident.

Authorities initially charged Porter with the singular assault as a hate crime, as well as harassment and reckless endangerment. However, investigators learned of additional assaults allegedly carried out by Porter on the same day, leading to additional charges stemming from the suspect targeting Asians in random attacks.

Officials say the first attack of the day occurred at approximately 9:40 a.m., where Porter allegedly punched a 72-year-old man along Hester Street near Eldridge Street, leading to the victim suffering a broken nose. Minutes later, police say Porter punched a 33-year-old man in the head while heading down Canal Street near Forsyth Street.

Within minutes, authorities say Porter pickpocketed an elderly Asian woman near Eldridge and Division Streets, but did not physically attack the woman. Shortly thereafter, police say Porter attacked an elderly woman in the area of Forsyth Street and East Broadway.

Porter, at just 33, has managed to accrue over 61 felony charges and 24 misdemeanors, with some of the incidents involving him menacing and threatening random people while brandishing a knife. Yet the District Attorney’s office confirmed Porter’s most recent knife-wielding incident from October 14th resulted in a judge granting him supervised release because the misdemeanor assault wasn’t eligible for bail.

Because of the weak court system in New York, they are leaving it up to the citizens to protect themselves. He should have been put in prison long ago and taken off the streets permanently.

Now that they went and elected that idiot they went and put into the Mayors office, they will soon see a lot more of this, he will release a lot of the people that are currently locked up, as well as you will soon see the muslimification of that city, and anyone that won't convert will have a VERY hard time of it.

THe creep had over 61 felony charges and he's on the street? I don't care if he's mentally incompetent or not he shouldn'thave been on the street to prey on innocent citizens.

Josh

Anyone ever thought about the death penalty. He obviously can’t or refuses to be rehabilitated.
