Ohio House of Horrors Left 13 Kids Living Among Feces and Bugs, Shocking Video Reveals

TOLEDO, OH – Three adult suspects were arrested this past August at a Toledo home where authorities say 13 children were removed from the residence after having been found living in “deplorable” conditions, according to reports.

On August 10th, Toledo Police responded to a residence located off the 300 block of Raymer Boulevard after receiving reports about an animal complaint. However, upon arriving at the residence in question, police reportedly discovered 13 children living inside the home, with local reports describing the living conditions as “deplorable.”

According to charging documents associated with the case, responding officers observed severe insect infestations within the residence alongside children covered in bug bites, human feces on the floor, neither a working shower or toilet, uncared for animals who’d also been urinating and defecating on the floor, and no food inside of the home.

In recently released bodycam footage of the police response to the suspects’ home, officers initially encountered 28-year-old Angel Oliveri, the father of at least five of the children living inside of the home, with an officer asking the suspect, “Do you think these living conditions are acceptable for children?”

The officer answered his own question with, “No, I don’t,” adding, “It’s one thing if adults want to live in filth, in their own filth, and not take care of themselves. You’re adults, if you want to live that way, these kids didn’t sign up for that.”

Oliveri along with 27-year-old Cassandra Lambert and 32-year-old Angel Lambert were taken into custody under charges of endangering children, with Oliveri being charged with eight counts and the Lambert sisters being charged with five counts each. The trio of suspects appeared before a judge on August 11th, and all were released on their own recognizance.

A no contact order was issued against the defendants with respect to their children, with Child Services having removed the youths from the home and finding temporary living arrangements with another family member. An unnamed relative related to the suspects reportedly informed local news outlet WTVG 13 Action News that the 13 children are “fine and now being well taken care of.”
