Pennsylvania: More Illegal Alien Voter Fraud Uncovered As Part of Nationwide ICE Sweep

PHILADELPHIA, PA - The “thing that never happens” happened again in Pennsylvania when an illegal alien was arrested for unlawfully voting on Oct. 23, according to a news release from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Osmal Sanchez Loy, a Cuban national, was arrested by ICE’s Homeland Security Investigations unit following an investigation by ICE Homeland Security Investigations Allentown agents.

“Protecting our electoral integrity remains a top priority,” said HSI Special Agent in Charge Nathan Abel. “We will continue working with our partners to hold violators accountable.”

Leftist Democrats have insisted that voting by illegal aliens is “rare” but a number of arrests made under the Trump administration seem to indicate otherwise. While that number has apparently not impacted national elections, local and state elections, which often have a winning margin in the tens or single digits, may have been impacted by illegals voting.

In the case of Loy, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania will be prosecuting the case.

Loy was convicted of a dangerous drugs charge in 1987 and receiving stolen property in 1991. He never attempted to become a lawful permanent resident and has a final order of removal from April 2029.

In a separate case, ICE arrested another Cuban national, Jaimie Sosa-Sardina, who voted “illegally” in the 2024 election and noted that he was among “dozens of illegal aliens arrested in a nationwide voter fraud crackdown,” the Jamaica Observer reported.

ICE said the crackdown is “in connection with alleged voter fraud and election-related offenses across the United States, including numerous cases of aliens admitting to unlawfully registering to vote or casting ballots in American elections.”

In a statement, acting ICE Director David J. Venturella said, “These arrests, carried out in coordination with our federal, state, and local law enforcement partners, are the result of careful, methodical investigations.”

“American elections must be conducted in accordance with the law, and allegations of illegal voting deserve our undivided attention. When the facts support criminal charges, we pursue them. Every eligible voter deserves an election process that follows the law.”

ICE said the arrests made last week were “just some” of the ongoing investigations and arrests. Aside from the two Cubans, ICE arrested illegal aliens from Honduras, Somalia, Germany, Nicaragua, Vietnam, Venezuela, El Salvador, Cambodia, Guatemala, and Mexico.
