Trump-Era ICE Agents Took Hundreds Of Child Predators Off the Streets

HOUSTON, TX – According to a press release from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) released earlier in March, ICE Houston had reportedly apprehended in excess of 400 criminal illegal alien child predators during President Donald Trump’s first year back in office.

In the March 9th press release from ICE, the agency highlighted the sizeable uptick in arrests made regarding criminal illegal aliens harboring the most abhorrent charges and convictions under the current administration juxtaposed to the prior.

“The 414 criminal alien child predators arrested are nearly double the number arrested during the last year of the Biden administration when ICE Houston arrested 211,” the press release emphasized.

The agency went on to highlight ten of the criminal illegal aliens apprehended by ICE Houston during their efforts over the past year, which are as follows:
 
  •          Alex Samuel Lara Diaz, a 35-year-old criminal illegal alien from Honduras who’d been previously deported, was previously convicted of sexual assault of a minor while also being wanted for murder in his home country. Lara Diaz was deported in December 2025 and handed directly to Honduran authorities.
  •          Gabriel Julio Lopez-Velazquez, a 25-year-old criminal illegal alien from Mexico, was previously convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a minor, aggravated assault and illegal entry, and felony illegal reentry. Lopez-Velazquez was deported in April 2025.
  •          Juan Leonardo Garcia Ibarra, a 48-year-old criminal illegal alien from Mexico, was previously convicted of sexual indecency with a child, aggravated assault, cruelty toward a child, DWI and felony illegal reentry. Garcia was deported in April 2025.
  •          Javier Perez-Garcia, a 49-year-old criminal illegal alien from Mexico, was previously convicted of sexual exploitation of a minor, sexual indecency with a minor, hit-and-run and damaging property, assault and DWI. Perez-Garcia was deported in September 2025.
  •          Milton Alexander Magana Fuentes, a 32-year-old criminal illegal alien from El Salvador, was previously convicted of sexual indecency with a minor and failure to register as a sex offender, as well as illegal reentry. Fuentes was deported in July 2025.
  •          Luis Mario Monsalve Chaux, a 52-year-old criminal illegal alien from Colombia, was previously convicted of possessing child sexual abuse material and possessing burglary tools, as well as multiple counts of burglary and larceny. Monsalve currently remains in custody pending the outcome of his immigration proceedings.
  •          Armando Vasquez-Gonzalez, a 43-year-old criminal illegal alien from Mexico with two prior deportations, was previously convicted of sexual indecency with a minor, drug trafficking, assault and felony illegal reentry, as well as multiple counts of DWI. Vasquez was deported in September 2025.
  •          Andrew Mark Watson, a 38-year-old criminal illegal alien from the United Kingdom, was previously convicted of two counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and sexually exploiting a minor. Watson remains in federal custody pending the outcome of his immigration proceedings.
  •          Jesus Gutierrez Mireles, a 68-year-old criminal illegal alien from Mexico, has been previously deported three separate times as well as harboring convictions of aggravated sexual assault of a child and DWI. Gutierrez was removed from the country in April 2025.
  •          Jose Guadalupe Meza, a 41-year-old criminal illegal alien from Mexico, has been previously deported four seperate times as well as harboring convictions of theft and sexual assault of a child. Meza was removed from the country in June 2025.

ICE ERO Houston acting Field Office Director Gabriel Martinez issued a statement regarding the efforts of the agency to apprehend such criminal illegal aliens, saying, “While elected officials and media pundits across the country were zealously trying to manipulate the American public with fake news stories about ICE’s public safety mission, the brave men and women of ICE were quietly going about their business to arrest and remove more than 400 dangerous child predators from our local communities.”
