MONTGOMERY, TX – A Texas-based nonprofit led by a retired Army Green Beret veteran and an Air Force veteran is aiming to address “the invisible wounds of war” by way of helping Special Operations Forces (SOF) personnel and veterans obtain stem cell therapies to treat traumatic brain injuries.
Project R3con, co-founded by Alpha Elite Performance founder Travis Wilson, was launched as what can best be described as a passion project to ensure the SOF community “has access to the same life changing treatments that have helped special operators and elite athletes reclaim their quality of life.”
He also recently hired Anna Richardson as the company's CEO and President.
Wilson, who spent 13 years of his 21-year military career as an Army Green Beret, harbors personal experience with respect to the life-changing aspects that can be harnessed through stem cell therapies. According to Wilson’s own testimonial regarding the therapies he received following a free-fall accident that nearly killed him, he is dedicated to helping secure the same therapies he benefited from for others who’ve served their country
“After a 21 year Military career, most of that in Special Forces, I survived a near-fatal free-fall accident where I was left with significant physical and cognitive challenges,” Wilson stated, adding, “Traditional treatments only took me so far until I experienced the impact of stem cell therapy firsthand.”
Wilson says the improvements he witnessed with his own recovery “were nothing short of life changing,” noting how a persistent stutter he’d once had with the letter “s” had managed to dissipate. It was this personal experience that inspired Wilson to pursue this goal of ensuring all his “fellow warriors” could regain a quality of life they’re deserving of.
“Project R3con exists to fight for our brothers and sisters in uniform and to bring them real options, real healing, and a real shot at living fully again,” Wilson stated, emphasizing, “We're not here to promise miracles, we're here to deliver results with a real solution.”
It’s hardly a surprise that Wilson helped co-found Project R3con, notwithstanding his own injury recovering journey, as his endeavors with Alpha Elite Performance (AEP) demonstrate his work to help individuals achieve the best version of themselves. AEP’s vast array of supplements is geared towards helping individuals achieve their personal fitness and wellbeing goals.
Whether it’s helping SOF veterans regain their quality of life or individuals looking to improve their overall health and wellbeing, Wilson is clearly up to the task of ensuring that the resources are out there.
