NEW YORK, NY - A group of psychopathic vagrants have turned a multi-million-dollar soccer field in Mamdani’s New York City into a virtual den of iniquity, The New York Post reports.
In bizarre scenes witnessed by the outlet this weekend, a man wearing a mask with a dangling penis for a nose was seen in the area less than 20 feet from children. He then stripped off his clothes and screamed in what The Post described as an unprovoked outburst at 9:00 a.m. on a Wednesday morning.
“Everyone wants to party, but no one wants to pay for [the] party!” the unhinged lunatic screamed.
As revolting as the mask was, when the man decided to take off his mask, his face was covered with some 30 piercings, including a ring between his eyes, and a “cluster of tiny metal studs circling his mouth, eyebrows, and eyes.” You know, your typical Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) and Hasan Piker supporter.
On top of his head was another part of the mask, described as “a balaclava-type contraption featuring a middle finger with the words ‘sex,’ ‘f*ck you,’ and ‘Mr. Anger’ scrawled on it,” The Post wrote.
According to the outlet, the vagrants get drunk at a nearby gas station on 8th Avenue, then head over to Hudson River Park, neighbors told The Post. They said the unhinged lunatics have become a “regular presence” at the soccer field, located on the Gansevoort Peninsula, across the West Side Highway from the Whitney Museum. Once there, they threaten children, some as young as five, and harass park workers.
Local residents complained to The Post that nothing is being done, including Jason Fernandez, whose daughter was practicing on the field with the Gotham Girls Football Club.
“When it comes to the kids, something has to happen,” Fernandez said. “Today this guy in the mask started waving at the girls. I came back because he gave me a weird feeling.
“These men need help, but obviously they’re not getting it and because of that everyone has to suffer,” he said, then turning his anger toward the Israel-hating, Marxist mayor of the Big Apple, Zohran Mamdani. “Mamdani is terrible, absolutely terrible,” he said.
Only about a week ago, at least two members of the vagrant mob took off their clothes and began engaging in sex on a nearby bench, completely removed from their surroundings, an eyewitness told The Post.
“The girl was on top of the guy. It was unbelievable, like 4 o’clock in the afternoon,” an eyewitness who works as a dog walker, Geronimo Silva, said. “This city is becoming worse.”
Silva said he also was harassed by the dimwit wearing the penis mask.
The group, which sometimes numbers a dozen or more, included a friend of penis man who was passed out on a bench in front of the children, while another was passed out near one of the goal posts.
Another loon, wearing a “Scarface” T-shirt, asked for money as he flipped people off with the middle finger.
“I take Cash App, Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, all the electronic payments,” he said without a sense of irony.
Another vagrant nicknamed “Fire Bug” by parents has been setting fires to benches in the area while the kids were practicing.
“One of the benches, I think it’s that one, you could see it burnt,” said Fernandez as he pointed to burn marks on the bottom of the bench.
The Gansevoort Peninsula was opened in 2023 under former Mayor Eric Adams and cost $73 million to build. The facility is a 5.5-acre green park with a sports field, beach, and boardwalk; however, it has been overrun by homeless vagrants despite its location in a neighborhood that Hollywood elite such as Ben Stiller, Jennifer Lawrence, and the Biebers call home.
Last summer, the city tore down encampments at least twice; however, the NYPD claimed to The Post that it didn’t respond to incidents there, and there were no 311 complaints about the location. That doesn’t ring true to parents and parkgoers, who complain the homeless lunatics who frequent the area have become more brazen.
“Gansevoort is the worst one because you get crazy homeless people around the field,” said Saad Afif, a soccer coach who owns Manhattan Football Training and regularly has his teams practice there.
“Here it’s out in the open and you can just kind of walk up...a few times I had to step in and tell people to either go away or tell security,” he said.
The homeless crazies also get naked and wash up in the park bathrooms despite kids using them, some parents told The Post.
“There’s a lot of things the kids see that they shouldn’t be seeing,” a disgusted Parks worker told The Post. He said he and his fellow workers must continually deal with the vagrants even though the city's Department of Homeless Services is supposed to help, and the NYPD is tasked with dealing with public drinking and disorderly conduct.
DHS claims that the park “was not a known hotspot” for the agency but said it would “monitor this location and offer shelter and services to any vulnerable individuals” it comes across.
Nearby food vendors are also living in fear, claiming they have also been targeted by these individuals.
“They get aggressive and start screaming and intimidating,” said one kiosk worker. “They say stuff like ‘I got something in my bag’ or ‘I’m gonna f*ck you up.’ It happens about twice a week, almost always the same people. They want free food and unfortunately, it’s a business and we can’t.”
Last Wednesday, park workers were once again called to throw the vagrants out of the facility.
“Ya buggin’ the f*ck out,” penis mask man screamed as he was removed from the field.
One parent said, “The parks people come around every now and then, but the homeless just leave and come back 10 minutes later.”
So, while Mamdani tries to elevate his national profile, his city continues to slide into the abyss.
