Trans Maine Suspect Attempts to Mow Down Trooper, Border Patrol Agent Enforcing Immigration Law

WASHINGTON, ME - In another case of a man posing as a woman, a “transgender” man is under arrest after attempting to run down a U.S. Border Patrol captain and a Maine state trooper last Monday, Dallas Express reports

According to authorities, Stevie Wilkins, 34, who goes by the name “Olivia,” drove his Lexus toward Border Patrol Capt. Willis and Trooper Jeremiah Wesbrock in Washington, Maine, last Monday. Washington is located about 20 miles west of the seaside town of Rockport. The incident took place after a car crash investigation that involved suspected illegal aliens.

According to Wesbrock’s arrest affidavit, he drew his firearm and pointed it at the driver who was attempting to run him down, then swerved away while he was in the process of firing the weapon. The outlet said that the trooper’s gun did not fire.

Wilkins was arrested a short time later by the Knox County Sheriff’s Department. He was booked into the Knox County Jail and initially held on a $50,000 bond, according to the Midcoast Villager.

He was charged with reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, obstructing government administration, driving to endanger, and failure to stop for an officer.

In a court appearance on Wednesday, Wilkins’ bond was lowered to $500 cash, the Midcoast Villager reported. The assistant district attorney argued for bail to remain at $50,000 due to the seriousness of the charges; however, in blue states such as Maine, judges typically reduce bonds to ridiculously low amounts. Wilkins’s attorney argued for him to be released on his personal recognizance.

Wilkins was also ordered under house arrest; he is prohibited from driving, and he is barred from possessing dangerous weapons.

The incident began when Wesbrock responded to assist Knox County Sheriff’s deputies with a crash on Route 17 in Washington involving a box truck. The truck went off the road and struck a tree. As a result of the crash, two people were trapped in the vehicle, and fire department crews had to extricate them.

The driver was identified as Victor Cardona Calderon of New York. The passengers were identified as Johan Andres Ortiz Calderon, Agustin Sanchez Mejia, and Alejandro Ramos Chaux. There appears to be a theme with those last names, which will be addressed below.

Two of the passengers were transported for further medical evaluation, while LifeFlight took Ramos Chaux to a trauma center.

Wesbrock said the driver, Cardona-Calderon, presented a Colombian passport and a New York state driver’s license. Wesbrock noted in his affidavit that, based on his training and experience, he believed the driver and passengers were in the US illegally. US Border Patrol was contacted, and Capt. Willis arrived and began interviewing the people who were in the truck.

Calderon had difficulty communicating in English during the stop, which raised concerns under the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Act, which requires commercial vehicle operators operating in interstate commerce to be able to read and communicate English. His license also did not meet federal standards, reading, “not for federal identification purposes.”

Based on those facts and circumstances, Wesbrock contacted Border Patrol.

That was when Wilkins decided to interject himself in the situation. According to an affidavit filed in court by the sheriff’s office, Wilkins was initially attempting to interfere in the arrest and called a deputy a “Nazi.” He was told to leave, at which point he squealed the tires on his 1997 Lexus with Texas plates and drove toward Capt. Willis and himself, Wesbrock wrote.

A subsequent piece published in the Midcoast Villager confirmed that all four occupants of the box truck were illegal aliens, the U.S. Border Patrol confirmed on Friday.

In an email statement, the Border Patrol stated:

“On August 25, 2025, Border Patrol agents responded to a vehicle accident to assist local law enforcement. After assessing the scene and providing care to the injured individuals, it was determined that all four individuals involved in the accident were unlawfully present in the United States. They were subsequently taken into custody for further processing.”

The status of the illegal aliens and where they were being held was not revealed.

Meanwhile, Wilkins’ subsequent court date was also not available.

Seems to me, this clown could be charged federally, as well. Also, this comment is a bit confusing: "The outlet said that the trooper’s gun did not fire." Did his firearm have a misfire or did the trooper not fire his weapon?

Dennis

Time to stop this insanity

James

Next officer's gun WILL FIRE!

Melvin

Trooper was correct in using his weapon, now the court should prosecute on attempted murder, and give the max sentence,, it's time for people to suffer their stupidity in stead getting a slap on the wrist

James

Sounds like a socialist democrat account of what happened! "The officers gun did not fire"? Did the gun make this decision?
