Transgender Illegal Alien Accused of Child Rape Now Faces Judge

NEW YORK CITY, NY – A transgender illegal alien appeared in court earlier in July following his arrest in February for charges related to the alleged rape of a 14-year-old boy in a bathroom in East Harlem, where the alleged child predator reportedly appeared arrogant in the courtroom.

On February 11th, 30-year-old Nicol Suarez, a biological male who presents as transgender, had reportedly followed a 14-year-old boy into a bathroom inside of a bodega located near Thomas Jefferson Park.

Authorities say Suarez sexually assaulted the young boy inside of the bathroom, which the victim was reportedly able to flee following the attack and flag down nearby bystanders for help.

Suarez was arrested the day following the alleged attack, who also happened to be wanted on separate unspecified criminal charges out of New Jersey and Massachusetts at the time he was taken into custody.

Furthermore, Suarez also had an active detainer submitted by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) prior to the alleged February attack, but sanctuary policies out of the aforementioned states greatly limit local authorities’ ability to cooperate with ICE with regard to detainers.

News of the incident shocked locals in East Harlem at the time. Azid Haime, who owns a deli not far from where the incident occurred, was visibly shaken that such a brazen offense could occur inside a local small business.

“Oh my God, that is disgusting,” Haime said when he heard of the attack, “He destroyed that little boy’s life! All my body is shaking; I want to sit. I can’t explain how I feel.  I’m more than angry.”

At the time of Suarez’s initial court appearance to determine bond, New York prosecutors sought $500,000 bail and $1.5 million bond, yet Judge Elizabeth Shamahs sought a more lenient bail amount for the accused child rapist, setting bail at $100,000 and bond at $250,000.

On July 24th, Suarez was in court once again, adorned in jail house makeup and apparently having his nose up in the air in what could be perceived as a display of arrogance in the face of the very serious charges.

Needing the assistance of an interpreter during the courtroom proceedings, Suarez sat smugly by the side as his attorney asked the court for additional time to file various motions, a request that was denied by Judge Michele Rodney.

After the back-and-forth from prosecutors and Suarez’s attorney, the judge set pre-trial hearing for mid-September.

Suarez, who has been charged with first-degree rape and stalking, could face up to 32 years in prison upon conviction of both charges.
