WASHINGTON, DC - Joe Biden blundered yet again when he compared losing his son to the loss of police officers killed in the line of duty.
Speaking at the National Peace Officer’s Memorial Service in Washington DC on Wednesday, Biden had the nerve to pretend to understand how the families of those killed in the line of duty feel by sharing about his son, Beau.
The Post Millennial posted a clip of Biden’s speech to X. Biden said, “[It's] a black hole in the middle of your chest you feel like you’re being sucked into. It’s like losing part of your soul. I know. When my son Beau spent a year in Iraq and came home with stage four glioblastoma he was gonna die and he did. I know what it’s like. I got a feeling that you all know as well who have lost in the past.”
Barely coherent and completely insensitive among other descriptives that could be used here. Biden did praise police during his speech, however, the blatant disrespect that was on display as he pretended to know what LEO families go through is enraging.
The fact of the matter is, Biden has no idea what these heroic families and agencies go through when a police officer is killed in the line of duty. Beau Biden battled glioblastoma from 2013 until his passing in June of 2015. He received treatments including surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. The statement that he “came home with stage four glioblastoma,” is false.
Beau Biden was deployed to Iraq in 2008 with the Delaware National Guard and returned home in 2009. “Joe has floated the idea that his son’s cancer could have come from his time in Iraq working around that toxic smoke,” MSN reported in an article that outlined the details surrounding Beau Biden’s death.
A two-year battle with cancer does not compare to the sudden loss of someone killed in the line of duty. Of course both are tragic and heartbreaking. But Biden knew his son was ill and had the opportunity to be with him when he passed.
His son did not walk out the door for work and not return home. His family did not receive that call or knock on the door that these families pray against every single time their loved ones leave for work. Beau Biden served his country in the military; he did not die defending it.
These men and women killed in the line of duty are protecting and defending our communities every single day, while Biden is busy creating policy to defund them and put them further in harms way. And then has the audacity to pretend that he knows what it’s like to lose a hero that went to work and did not come home. It is disgusting and a slap in the face to law enforcement officers and their families across this great country.
The "leader" of our country needs to do better. The families of the 282 police officers whose names were added to the 21,910 existing names on the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial this year deserve better. Our law enforcement as a whole deserves better. What an utter disgrace.

He is such a narcissist, making everything revolve around him. Strange how he always uses that story about his son Beau, but doesn’t comment about the death of his wife and daughter. What a weird dude. Not to make light of these things, but I can’t keep track of who was eaten by cannibals, who died of cancer and who was killed by a drunk driver. Maybe he can’t keep track of it either, between being raised in the black community, the Greek community, the Asian community, etc. I think on his best days this guy never knew truth from reality, and he’s not in his best days now. Better that they just don’t let him speak at this event anymore, ever.

He is the most stupidly incompetent President ever, and should never have been elected. He should have been impeached after his first year.
