California: Three-Time Deported Illegal Alien Slaughters Family, Including Baby

CALIFORNIA - The Biden/Newsom/Mayorkas death toll rose by three last week after an illegal alien deported three times killed two women and an infant. The horrific crime was the direct result of Biden’s open border California’s sanctuary state policies.

The New York Post reports that Joaquin Escoto, 28, a Mexican national, was deported three times and arrested at least two times for DUI, with the most recent arrest being last June, a senior law enforcement official told The Post.

After his June arrest in San Joaquin County, federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials asked to be notified of Escoto’s release from jail so he could be deported a fourth time, the official said.

However, due to California’s sanctuary law, San Joaquin County officials could not notify the feds and Escoto was freed, the official continued.

“Safe to say, California law prohibited the jail from complying,” the official said, sharing police documents substantiating his claim with The Post.

Less than one year after that request, Escoto is now being held without bail on three counts of murder for the horrific slaying in Modesto of an infant, Mateo Gonzalez, and two women, Fabiola Gonzalez, 23, and Silvia Nunez, 54. All three were stabbed multiple times. The two women were pronounced dead at the scene, while the child died at a local hospital. Another child, aged 4, was found inside the home and was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Officers responded to a home in Modesto following a 911 call reporting a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived, they found the three victims, and Escoto had fled the scene.

California Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Hilton slammed California Democrats for protecting illegal aliens over American citizens.

“[Gov] Gavin Newsom has the blood of these women and this innocent little baby on his hands. [Democrat candidates] Xavier Becerra is no better, and Tom Steyer is even worse," Hilton told The Post.

“These Democrats lecture us about ‘their values’ and how ‘compassionate’ they are while their sick sanctuary extremism sets monsters like this free to murder and terrorize our communities,” Hilton said. “Enough is enough: this insanity must end, and it will on day one when I am governor,” he continued.

Newsom has been a longtime proponent of California’s sanctuary laws, although he’s allegedly opposed to further expanding them.

Responding officers developed information at the scene leading them to believe the suspect was still in the area. Officers established a perimeter around the house where the victims were found, and called in a SWAT team and hostage negotiators.

Escoto was found hiding inside a neighboring house. He was taken into custody without incident. A nearby elementary school was put into temporary lockdown with students and staff relocated to a nearby junior high school.

Police said they believe Escoto shared a child with one of the victims, assumed to be Gonzalez. They would not comment if either of the children found inside the house were his.

A preliminary investigation showed that the killings were an isolated incident, and that there had been no threat to the general public. Police are looking into a possible motive for the murders aside from the fact that Escoto is an illegal alien who seems prone to committing such violent crimes.

“We will do everything that we can to investigate it and bring closure to the families,” Modesto Police Department Lt. Eric Schuller said.

Escoto will appear in court on Monday, June 1, and will be officially charged in connection with the killings.

The Post attempted to get information about Escoto’s previous DUI and immigration-related actions he faced, however received no response from the San Joaquin Sheriff’s Office nor ICE.
