BROOMFIELD, CO— Jose Guadalupe Menjivar-Alas, 37, an illegal immigrant from El Salvador has been charged with vehicular homicide, reckless vehicular homicide, driving while under the influence, and being a habitual traffic offender after he struck and killed 46-year-old Melissa Powell and her 16-year-old son, Riordan. Menjivar-Alas has reportedly been deported from the United States on four prior occasions.
The Broomfield Police said in a statement that Menjivar-Alas was driving a 2000 Toyota Tundra on Dec. 12th when he crashed into the victim's 2016 Mazda CX-5.
The Department said in a statement, "The investigation into the cause continues, but it’s believed alcohol and speed were contributing factors. The BPD is awaiting the official toxicology report that is currently being confirmed by the Colorado Bureau of Investigations."
The Denver Post reported that Melissa died on the scene, while Riordan died later at an area hospital. Melissa leaves behind two surviving sons.
The outlet wrote that according to witnesses Menjivar-Alas was observed prior to the collision driving in excess of 80 mph in a 40 mph zone. The affidavit obtained by the Post said he passed several vehicles and crossed a double yellow center line before impacting Powell's car.
Sources told KDVR that he allegedly struck their vehicle at an estimated 100 mph. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) told KDVR that Menjivar has been deported four prior times and “first entered the country at an unknown time and place without inspection by an immigration official.”
Menjivar-Alas was hospitalized for his injuries and a warrant was obtained for his blood. He then tested with a blood-alcohol content of .249, more than triple the legal limit.
A Gofundme page has been created "to help support Melissa Powell's surviving sons." As of this report, the fundraiser has raised over $52,000.

“ICE records show that the subject has been previously removed and has no regard for immigration law,” ICE said in a statement to the outlet.
“As part of its routine operations, ICE targets and arrests noncitizens who commit crimes and other individuals who have violated our nation’s immigration laws. All noncitizens in violation of U.S. immigration law may be subject to arrest, detention and, if found removable by final order, removed from the United States, regardless of nationality.”

I think most people realize who aided this thug. Biden, Harris, Mayorkas, Democratic Party, and the Democratic voters. How many more Americans must be sacrificed so the Liberal voters feel they have their quota?

Thank you Joe Biden and your wonderful administration. You have the blood of an innocent mother and child on your hands. I hope you burn in hell.

I hope that Co. has the Death penalty, and they give it to this criminal as he is showing that he has no sense of law and order. He should also be fast-tracked to the penalty and executed ASAP to send a message to those who violate the law and throw it into the face of those who follow the rules.

The family of the murdered people should sue Biden for aiding and abetting a criminal, and enabling to murder - which exactly what Biden is doing. How many more criminal illegal "migrants" are going to murder innocent people and get away with it?
