HOUSTON, TX- Two more illegal alien invaders from Mexico have been sent packing, according to a news release from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Agustin Morales-Renteria and Juan Becerra Ruiz, both 24, were sent back to where they came from where they are wanted for aggravated homicide and intentional homicide, respectively.
The two were transported by deportation officers from ICE’s Houston Field Office from the Montgomery Processing Center in Conroe, Texas, to the Juarez-Lincoln Bridge in Laredo, Texas, where they were turned over to Mexican authorities.
“Under my watch, Southeast Texas will never become a safe haven for dangerous criminal illegal alien foreign fugitives like these two, regardless of the misinformation and lies being spread over the past couple of weeks by open borders and anti-immigration enforcement groups trying to demonize our officers and undermine our mission,” said ERO Houston acting Field Office Director Gabriel Martinez. “In conjunction with our partners, our officers continue to drown out the noise and give everything they have to enforce our nation’s immigration laws without prejudice, while prioritizing enforcement actions that enhance public safety, national security, and border security. As a result of their efforts, these two fugitives will now face justice for their alleged crimes, providing closure to the friends and families of their alleged victims.”
According to the release, Morales-Renteria illegally entered the United States on or about Sept. 21, 2021, and was expelled the same day based on COVID-19 health protocols in place under Title 42.
Around one month later, shortly before a regional attorney general’s office in Mexico issued an arrest warrant for aggravated homicide on Oct. 19, he again illegally entered the U.S. on or about Oct. 15, 2021 to evade prosecution. He was encountered at the sheriff’s office in Jackson County, Missouri after he was arrested for tampering with a motor vehicle and felony possession of a controlled substance. However, due to the Biden administration's lax immigration enforcement policies, no action was taken.
On November 4, 2025, however, there was a new sheriff in town in the name of Tom Homan as immigration czar and after Morales-Renteria was convicted of being an illegal alien in possession of a firearm and being sentenced to 18 months in federal prison, he was transferred to ICE custody at the end of his prison term on May 21. He was ordered removed from the U.S. by an immigration judge on July 2, and less than three weeks later, he was removed from the country on July 21.
Becerra-Ruiz entered the U.S. on an unknown date and location. On Oct. 21, 2022, a warrant for his arrest was issued in Queretaro, Mexico, for intentional homicide. In May 2026, U.S. Border Patrol was notified of the arrest warrant by Mexican authorities and of his location in the Houston area. Becerra-Ruiz was picked up during a traffic stop and transferred to ICE custody on June 4. On June 30, a federal immigration judge ordered him removed to Mexico and ICE obliged, completing the order on July 21.
