Man facing Mar-a-Lago trespassing charge makes shocking claim on Trump assassination attempt

PALM BEACH, FL - A man facing a criminal charge for allegedly trespassing on former President Donald Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida says a foreign power was behind the attempt on his life last month.

Zijie Li, 38, is accused of repeatedly trying to access Trump's Palm Beach resort in the criminal case, according to Florida WPTV. According to court documents, Li was stopped by Secret Service personnel at the gate on the evening of July 19. During his interaction with the federal agents, Li claimed that the government of China was involved in the attempted assassination of Trump a week prior.

The resident of California sought to leave documents with the Secret Service- an offer that was rejected. Li was later issued a trespassing warning from the Palm Beach Police Department. However, this wasn't the last time the suspect would attempt to access Trump's oceanside property.

Li made another appearance at late Tuesday afternoon, blocking a traffic lane at the property. The suspect was warned about his alleged breaches of the trespassing warning and released from the scene.

The alleged trespasser proceeded to try and access the area of Mar-a-Lago two more times on Wednesday- after the first of which officers rebuffed Li yet again for trying to enter the south gate of the premises. Police issued a "be on the lookout" warning regarding Li after that incident.

After a fourth incident, in which Li was found on an intersection near the Mar-a-Lago property, the alleged trespasser was arrested. He's facing a single criminal count of trespassing, with a judge ordering him to be held at the Palm Beach County Jail on a $10,000 bond.

Li would later be identified as a Chinese citizen, according to KTTV. The defendant has been issued a no-contact order regarding Trump or anyone affiliated with his presidential campaign.

The specifics of the documents he allegedly sought to present to the Secret Service aren't completely clear. Li's next court appearance is slated for August 5.

Publish his documents on X and Facebook for the world to see!! Our Secret Service, CIA and FBI are all corrupt in their dealings with protecting Trump or any Conservative. This man probably has valid information that should be made PUBLIC due to law enforcement not investigating it. Let Americans decide! Let his lawyer publish the information for all to see!!

My thoughts exactly. SS cannot be trusted.

When Trump is reelected, needs to clean out all the Federal agencies!!

Paul

The obese female ss agent who DUCKED at the attempted assassination of President Trump was assigned to Senator's Vance's protection detail. On a positive point, that agent knows the best buffet's.

The DemocRATs are probably involved somewhere in this mess ! They are capable of anything to further their quest for power and their plans to destroy America !!!

Seems to me like the guy has been seriously trying to warn Trump that he is in danger, and has some kind of evidence to prove it, and the USSS has been blocking him from doing so. That right there to me smacks of treason, if they are knowingly blocking the man (Trump) from gaining intelligence that could save him from an assassination attempt by people from another country.... This would just go to show that the USSS is involved in the plot against Trump, and would help to expose them. Would really like to know more about what the man has to say, and what evidence he has...

Paul

Why wouldn't they just take the papers the guy had? Even if it didn't pan out! Unless they already know. I'm pretty sure they could have taken the shooter alive and questioned him. Instead they blew him away for fear of him telling all.

any vote for any democrat is a vote to destroy America for china and iran

Biden is called "China Joe" for good reason.
