Exclusive: Meet Trump’s New Drug Czar Who Is Gearing Up To Fight for America (Part 1)

Washington D.C.- When America overwhelmingly voted for President Donald J. Trump to be our next president, he went straight to work. His goal was to build the best team he possibly could.

But, unlike too many past presidents, he wasn’t going to fill cabinet roles with his friends or with people of influence. He wanted to put the best people in place who would actually focus on getting the job done to make a clearly recognisable difference.

Border Czar Tom Homan got right to work and shut the border down and instantly made America much safer.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth clamped down on political influence within the armed forces and shifted the focus to make our military a formidable fighting force by throwing out damaging DEI policies.

RFK Jr. went right to work finding out what is going on with our food industry that is keeping Americans unhealthy.

In each case, we see game-changers, difference-makers, and ambitious leaders who are dedicated to making a hugely positive real-world difference. They are doing what too many previous leaders would not do - shake things up to get sh** done.

For too long, career politicians and military leaders have been afraid to make decisions, which prevented them from making great strides in their respective roles. They didn’t want to “ruffle feathers” or make political adversaries. They were overly focused on simply checking the box so they could continue with their professional and political ambitions. All the while, the American people suffered.

Tom Homan, Pete Hegseth, and RFK Jr. don’t care about perpetuating the “check-the-box” political appointments that America is used to. They want true, actionable changes that will ultimately save American lives and make our nation great once again.

And the next appointee to come up the ranks to help our country with the same vigor and determination is Director Sara A. Carter, President Trump’s choice to head the National Drug Control Policy, aka the “Drug Czar.”

Like Homan, Hegseth, and RFK Jr., Carter is focused on making real, positive changes and is not impeded by future political aspirations or ruffling Washington’s feathers. She simply wants to make an impact on America’s current drug problem Few people would disagree that America has a drug problem.

In 1980, there was a population of 227 million Americans and 6100 drug-related deaths. In 2023, the population was 338 million Americans, and there were 110,037 drug-related deaths. That’s a population increase, according to the CDC, of 48% and a drug-related death increase of 1700%!

However, there will always be those who criticize her resume experience. It was the Democrats, especially Senator Durbin, who declared that she was not qualified, and who were the only ones to make such accusations!

But we believe she is exactly what America needs to solve the drug crisis. Drug Czar Carter is not concerned with walking the delicate political line.

She wants real change - and it starts with a plan.

“I'm working very, very hard, along with everyone here at ONDCP, to ensure that the President's national strategy and policy on drugs gets delivered to Congress on February 2, on the day that it is due. So we have not wasted one minute of time. We've worked through the furlough with essential workers working on the strategy, and we've worked with all of our interagency partners to ensure that we will deliver the best, the boldest, and the most important national strategy that this nation has ever seen. And that I am promising the American people,” Drug Czar Carter told LET in an exclusive interview.

An important part of her plan to fight the war on drugs is to start at the source - cartels.

Her message to them is unmistakable - and it gave us the chills.

“Because we've lost too many people, we've lost too many of our children and too many of our citizens to the scourge of these drugs at the hands of cartels. What I've told you before is the most nefarious organizations on planet Earth [cartels], and we're not going to allow them to do it anymore,” Drug Czar Carter said.

She added, “I don't want any cartel leader, foreign terrorist, or organization leader to ever have another good night's rest. I want them to be sleeping one eye open for the rest of their lives. They have murdered our children. They have murdered our people. They knew exactly what they were doing, and they know exactly what they are doing when they are delivering those narcotics to our country. If parents that I talk to every day have to wake up crying and go to bed crying every night because they no longer have their children in their lives, then I want those people who have taken the lives of their children to suffer a worse fate than that!”

Washington D.C. is fraught with individuals who are merely filling a spot on their way up the political ladder, many of whom lack real-world experience and tangible skills to accomplish the role they were picked to lead. This type of leader often has the education and the ability to speak publicly as their most important assets. But when it comes to knowing the job from the ground floor, they fall flat.

And that’s where Drug Czar Carter stands out.

“Everything I've done in the last 25 years of my life, covering the nearly 2,000 mile border with Mexico, working overseas on the battlefields of Afghanistan, in Iraq, my interviews, my investigations on the battlefields and here in the United States, the front lines of our drug epidemic, and the poisoning of our children from Kensington in Philly all the way to the streets of San Francisco, or Los Angeles, have taught me what I need to look for. I'm going to ask the right questions, I'm going to follow through, and I'm going to fight like hell for this country,” she said.

She continued, “There is no doubt in my mind that this is the greatest national security threat that our nation faces. And when I think about all the sacrifices we've made, even in my own family, but I think about the sacrifices so many of our young men and women have made fighting overseas, fighting terror, protecting the homeland, far away from home, many of them losing their lives on that battlefield. When I think about what I'm being asked to do here, I take that so seriously. This is not a check-the- block for me. This is hard work.”

Drug Czar Carter’s attitude and approach are direct and methodical. Saving American lives is her focus, and it doesn’t matter who it is or what their views and beliefs are.

“I'm here for every single person. I don't care if you're a Democrat, a Republican, a Green Party member, Mamdani's children - whoever they are. This is all about the American people and our children and saving lives. If we can't take a step back and say, ‘Okay, we may have big disagreements on certain issues, but the one thing we can agree on is our kids and saving lives,’” she said.

Another reason why this appointment is unique traces back to the White House. Much like Homan, Hegseth, and RFK Jr., President Trump is hyper-focused on results and less on politics.

President Trump will stop at nothing to save America.

“I feel that I am serving the most important president of our lifetime that is going to set the stage for all future presidencies. And as a journalist, going back to President George Bush all the way through, I have never seen anyone say what they mean and mean what they say the way President Trump has. He has literally given us the tools to fight the fight and said, ‘Do it! Be number one. Fight this fight. Win this battle for the American people’. And he has never held back,” Drug Czar Carter said.

She knows the drug problem will be solved more proficiently if everyone chips in. It will come down to a traditional “power in numbers” strategy.

And that means everyone.

“I'm reaching out. I'm saying, ‘Look, we can't do this alone.’ We're going to do this no matter what. But we need everybody on board. Our kids need to know that we love them, that we're willing to fight together,” she said.

“What I will say is that I will work harder than I've ever worked in my life for the American people and for our law enforcement and for our troops and for our children and for American families and for our Republican Party and for the Democrats, because it's killing all of our kids!” the Drug Czar proclaimed.

She has a solid strategic plan that is counter-balanced by the strong level of support she has. Like any productive and effective team, there are people behind the scenes who are contributing to the mission.

And in this case, those supporters are people with influence and have a level of conviction that matches Drug Czar Carter's - no small feat.

“I've been hyper-focused on what is happening in our country, especially issues that affect our children and our internal security and our external security. So I feel like with this job and being at the executive office of the president and working for the president, we're going to have this chance right now like we've never had before!” she said.

“To make a difference where we can pick up the phone and I can call Pam Bondi, I can call Stephen Miller. I could call Kash Patel. It doesn't matter if we have disagreements; push that aside, we're like family, right? And family fights for family!” she said.

That is exactly what we are as Americans – a large family. We look out for our own.
