Third 10 Most Wanted List fugitive captured since Trump's inauguration - thanks to an FBI that's actually doing it's job under Kash Patel

WASHINGTON, DC - Unlike the FBI under the Biden administration, which was laser-focused on politically motivated operations, Trump-appointed FBI Director Kash Patel has the agency back to what it should be doing…arresting real bad guys.

Fox News Digital reports that the FBI has apprehended three of its most high-profile fugitives from the “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” list since President Trump took office two months ago.

In a post on X earlier this week, Patel said the apprehension in capturing some of the country’s most wanted is “not an accident” and is attributable to letting “good cops be good cops.”

“When you let good cops be good cops, this is what happens. This administration is giving the new FBI and AG Bondi the resources to get the job done–and we won’t stop,” Patel wrote. He also praised the Department of Justice and Attorney General Pam Bondi for their work.

Whereas the Christopher Wray-led FBI under the Biden administration spent much of its time harassing peaceful protesters praying at abortion clinics, school moms speaking out at school board meetings, and January 6 protesters who merely trespassed outside the US Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, the new leadership has the agency laser focused on important business.

When Patel announced the newest arrest, he didn’t provide additional details; however, earlier, he announced the arrest of MS-13 key leader Francisco Javier Roman-Bardales, who was taken into custody Monday and will be extradited to the United States.

Roman-Bardales was subject to a $250,000 reward for his involvement in directing MS-13 gang activity in the United States and El Salvador.

“I can now confirm that last night, working with the Justice Department and other interagency partners, the FBI has extradited one of our ‘Ten Most Wanted’ from Mexico–one we believe to be a key senior leader of MS-13, Francisco Javier Roman-Bardales,” Patel said in a statement.

Roman-Bardales’ arrest comes on the heels of Mexico handing over 29 drug cartel members to the U.S., including drug lord Rafael Caro Quintero, who is believed responsible for the 1985 killing of a DEA agent.

The first arrest of a Ten Most Wanted figure occurred in January when Lady Lake, Florida Police Sgt. Michelle Bilbrey arrested Donald Eugene Fields II, 60, during a routine traffic stop. Fields was wanted on federal child sex trafficking charges and state charges of child rape.
