Manhunt Underway For Gun-Toting Suspect Who Shot At Border Patrol Agents

CHICAGO, IL – Authorities are reportedly searching for a suspect accused of opening fire on Border Patrol agents operating in Chicago earlier in November. While no injuries were reported as a result of the gunfire, authorities say the incident was followed up with additional violence aimed at authorities coming from agitators who flocked to the scene.

The shooting occurred while Border Patrol agents were conducting immigration enforcement operations on November 8th within Chicago’s Little Village Neighborhood, according to officials. An unidentified male reportedly driving a black Jeep had opened fire on the agents, but local authorities confirmed no injuries resulted from the actual shooting.

In the wake of the gunfire, officials say a crowd amassed around the Border Patrol agents and the government vehicles on site, with agitators reportedly hurling paint and bricks at the vehicles. Local reports note at least one person was taken into custody during the incident, but it’s unclear whether the individual was linked to the immigration enforcement operation or is connected with the ensuing violent acts of throwing paint and bricks at agents.

Agents reportedly engaged in crowd control tactics to help disperse the crowd that had amassed, with Chicago Alderman Michael Rodriguez claiming agents used flash bangs in the process. Rodriguez also accused the agents of “doing things that are unconstitutional, that are illegal,” while further asserting, “They are causing fear and mayhem in our communities and that's unacceptable.”

Another Alderman, Byron Sigcho-Lopez, was apparently on site at the scene of the incident while doing a live broadcast on social media. Sigcho-Lopez reportedly made an ostensible attempt to obstruct agents from carrying out their duties, confronting the agents near 26th Street and Sawyer Avenue and asking what they were doing in the area.

One social media user on X posted a video of the scene in Chicago, falsely claiming that “tear gas” was used “illegally” against the mob that formed around agents, prompting a direct response from Chief Border Patrol Agent Gregory Bovino who provided important context.

“Funny, you keep leaving out key facts including several shots fired at agents by a suspect,” Bovino stated, adding, “violent mobs throwing bricks and assaultive subjects.  We still managed to apprehend illegal aliens today in Little Village.  More to come.”

I truly hate to see it happen, but it's going to take some killing of these morons to wake up a lot of them. They are so blinded to the truth that it's going to take extreme measures for many of them. May GOD give wisdom to our law enforcement and leaders.

Paint is one thing, a brick is a deadly weapon and those throwing them need to be charged and adjudicated for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
