While Democrats are claiming that last Saturday’s “No Kings” whinefests across the country are an example of “grassroots” protest, the facts show otherwise, at least in some locations.
In California on Friday, California Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis appeared on Democratic Party state television, MSNBC, claiming the protests were a righteous stand for Democracy, Fox News Digital reports.
“People are very determined to get out there and be seen. This is the United States. We do not want a king,” she claimed.
However, Kounalakis left out a significant part–in California, the state’s Democratic Party was actively organizing Saturday’s protests. According to Asra Q. Nomani in an opinion piece for Fox, the Democratic National Committee is playing an instrumental role in funding the protests, albeit behind the scenes.
In an analysis for the Pearl Project, a nonprofit journalism program, the nationwide protests were organized by 197 organizations aligned with the Democratic Party. Approximately $2.1 billion in annual revenues are directed toward the cause, an effort Nomani calls the “protest industrial complex.”
In an analysis of 148 protest listings on Mobilize.us, a Democratic Party organizing platform, Nomani identified at least 70 Democratic National Committee affiliates as being behind the organization of demonstrations in at least 19 states and the District of Columbia.
In other words, while some of the demonstrations may indeed be “grassroots,” a large portion of them are not. As Nomani wrote, #NoKings is partisan political theater.
Nomani organized a database of those behind the protests and has been able to expose who is behind the scenes for the “day of defiance.” She was able to trace “the digital and physical infrastructure behind the June 14 demonstrations,” which are organized in a spreadsheet that can be found here.
Among her findings:
- Seventy unique Democratic Party committees and clubs are organizing at least 140 protest events across the country in at least 19 states and the District of Columbia.
- Democratic Party clubs are also behind protests in at least four foreign countries: Australia, Italy, Mexico, and Norway.
The Democratic Party, Nomani wrote, is not only supporting the protests, they’re leading them “often under the radar.”
Among DNC-related entities supporting various protests nationwide are:
Arizona- Pinal County Democratic Party; Cococino County Democratic Party; Apache County Democratic Party; Navajo County Democratic Party.
California- Too many to show, however highlights are Los Angeles County: Swing Left; Bakersfield: California Democratic Party; Big Bear Lake: Democratic Club of Big Bear Valley; East Bay: Alameda County Dems, Wellstone Democratic Renewal Club; Laguna Beach: Laguna Beach Democratic Club; San Francisco: San Francisco Democratic Party.
District of Columbia: DC Ward 8 Democrats.
Florida- Casselberry: Seminole County Democratic Party; Ft. Lauderdale: Broward Democratic Party; Naples: Collier County DEC; Palm Beach Gardens: Palm Beach County Democratic Party; Venice: Sarasota County Democratic Party.
Georgia- Atlanta: DeKalb County Democrats; Rome: Democratic Party of Georgia.
Illinois- DeKalb County Democratic Party IL; Princeton: Bureau County Democratic Party.
Maryland- Easton: Talbot Democrats.
Michigan- Lansing: Ingham County Democratic Party.
Nebraska- Alliance, Columbus, Kearney, Scottsbluff: Nebraska Democratic Party.
New Hampshire- Enfield: New Hampshire Democratic Party.
New York- New York City: Manhattan Young Democrats.
North Carolina: Asheboro: Randolph County Democratic Party; Edenton: North Carolina Democratic Party.
Ohio- Dayton: Green County Ohio Democratic Party.
South Carolina- Bluffton, Hilton Head Island: Beaufort County Democratic Party.
Tennessee- Knoxville: KnoxDems, Knox County Democratic Party
Texas- McKinney: Collin County Democratic Party; San Antonio: Comal County Democratic Party.
The above list is an overview of several states. There are many more examples. As most right-thinking Americans already believed, there is little that is “grassroots” about a majority of these protests. This appears, as Nomani suggests, that these protests are more about protecting a political party than stopping a “king,” which anyone with more than a couple of brain cells to rub together realizes is impossible under a constitutional republic.
The same people complaining about President Trump’s use of executive orders were silent when Joe Biden was doing the same thing. There were no protests against “kings” when Biden defied the Supreme Court rulings on student loan forgiveness or limiting the Environmental Protection Agency’s regulation of certain wetlands. There were no court filings when Biden broke the law by opening our borders to millions of foreign invaders.
In the case of “No Kings” protests, Democrats were not even trying to mask their involvement, Nomani wrote. Local organizers have received official flyers, water bottles with county logos, coordinated talking points, and slogans.
“In Santa Monica, Calif., the local Democratic Club is marching along the boardwalk.
“In Flagstaff, Ariz., the Coconino County Democratic Party is rallying on the steps of City Hall. In Naples, Florida, the Collier County Democratic Executive Committee is mobilizing volunteers with signage preapproved by national political action committees,” Nomani said.
“In Seminole County, Fla., the advertising is about political canvassing with these details for volunteers: ‘Signs will be provided to place next to the cooler that say ‘Free Water from SemDems.’ Consider bringing trash bags to tie the handle of the cooler to collect used bottles."
"Email deb4elections@gmail.com if you can bring a cooler with water. Passing out SemDems cards."
"Stand at protest area entry points and make sure people receive a SemDem card so they can connect with us. Passing Out Protest Signs."
"Hand out signs for people to wave if they didn’t bring one. Help people make a sign using SemDem supplies. In this role, you will be too busy to participate in the protest at the street.”
Nomani said she has been able to prove that multiple leftist organizations are operating across a number of states with the Democratic Party, “deploying scripts, signs, and staff.”
She noted, for example, that in Apache Junction, Arizona, the Pinal County Democratic Party is collaborating “for a branded ‘No Kings’ march, complete with printed materials calling Trump a ‘tyrant.’”
She wrote that in Oakland, California, the East Bay Democratic Party and Indivisible East Bay are collaborating on a rally where people are instructed to “paint the town” with pre-approved messages distributed at a booth.
Finally, in Pensacola, Florida, the Escambia Democratic Party is hosting voter registration drives under the #NoKings moniker, which is “blurring the line between civil protest and electoral campaigning.”
Democrats often complained during the 2024 presidential campaign that Trump rally attendees were being “paid” to show up, alleging these rallies were not genuine. Yet here there is proof that anti-Trump zealots are not showing up in a spontaneous manner but are being poked, prodded, and coached to show up for protests that the opposing party can only laugh at.
Nomani spoke to a longtime Democratic operative who was granted anonymity, who told her there was tremendous internal pressure to participate in the protests.
‘It feels less like a movement and more like a performance. We are told which graphics to share, what signs to print, and even how to answer reporters. It is like the whole protest is a campaign rollout–but in protest clothes.
“The Democratic Party is not showing up to these protests as supporters,” Nomani wrote. “They are stage managers. The very people warning us against authoritarianism are deploying authoritarian tactics to choreograph outrage. It’s political cynicism at its finest–activism from above, not below.”
Nomani compared what is going on today with the “No Kings” protests to the ideology that led to the death of journalist Daniel Pearl by extremists in Pakistan.
“The ideology that led to his death–sectarianism, division, moral absolutism–has haunted me ever since. That same dogma is now playing out in American streets, cloaked in slogans like ‘No Kings’ and ‘Save Democracy.’
Two incidents that occurred this week show the lengths to which the Democratic Party seeks to inflame its base and further divide the country.
Recently, Sen. Alex Padilla (D-CA) stormed a press conference being held by Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem. Most people in the country wouldn’t recognize Padilla if they tripped over him, since he’s a low-level senator of limited importance. The security team protecting Noem likely had no idea who he was. All they knew was they had an unhinged maniac rushing toward the Secretary, screaming like a madman.
Given the threats made by unhinged leftists towards Trump and members of his administration, the security team was well within its rights to intercept Padilla and forcibly remove him from the room. To anyone but the most committed leftists, it was obvious Padilla was trying to have a “moment.” That was obvious when video footage of the altercation was conveniently edited to exclude the moment he burst into the room and rushed toward the stage. Of course, Democrats pounced on the images and accused the administration of being dictators and the security team of being equivalent to the KGB or the Stasi.
The second incident occurred earlier this month, when two Minnesota lawmakers and their spouses were shot inside their homes, with two of them succumbing to their wounds. Both were Democrats, and the immediate response from Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz was to say they were “politically motivated” shootings, the insinuation being that a Republican had been responsible, fired up by so-called “hateful rhetoric” from President Trump and other conservatives.
Imagine everyone’s surprise when the suspect in the shootings was identified as a Democrat, Vance Luther Boelter, whom Walz had named to the Governor’s Workforce Development Board, which assists in “developing, implementing, and modifying the State plan, review of statewide policies and programs, providing recommendations on actions to align, and improve the workforce development system and programs.”
Earlier last week, Rep. Melissa Hortman, who, along with her husband, was killed by Boelter, was the only Democrat in the state House to defy her party and vote to repeal taxpayer-funded healthcare coverage for adult illegal aliens.
Given the temperature turned up by Democrats and their sycophants over illegal aliens over the past couple of weeks, it is reasonable to assume that this may have been an impetus for her killing.
Democrats and their supporters have been using increasingly unhinged rhetoric to describe Trump, Republicans in general, and their supporters, and have again resurrected the “Nazi” metaphor. The same party that slammed Trump and his supporters for “refusing to accept” the results of the 2020 election is now engaged in that exact conduct.
Nomani wrote:
“Today’s protest is not a revolution. It’s a message that refuses the 2024 election results. The message is this: the Democratic Party is willing to use every tool available–PACs, nonprofits, public unions, and even street protests–to control the narrative heading into the next elections.”
[...]
“The protests aren’t grassroots. They are the political puppeteering of the Democratic Party.”

Just another democratic party funded B.S. gimmick. Some are paid agitators and others are just mentally weak, easily managed idiots that can be led to believe anything because of their hatred towards President Trump. TDS at its best.
