POLK COUNTY, FL- On Friday, January 10th, two people, a man and a woman, walked into a Family Dollar located in Mulberry with the intentions to steal from the store. As reported in a post on X, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd wrote, "...they played different roles as they conspired in their retail theft. Very different roles."

The duo remains at large following a disgusting shoplifting spree that involved the woman intentionally pooping on the floor of the Family Dollar while her accomplice fled the store with a shopping cart full of cleaning products. Police estimate the shopping cart was worth close to $500. Sheriff Judd wrote, "The man walked around the store gathering nearly $500 worth of merchandise (like lots of Gain, Tide, and Clorox products) whilst the woman caused a distraction for employees by using the restroom ... without going to the restroom. The floor was her restroom. And an employee had to clear that ... stuff up."

The woman and man reportedly fled the scene in a white Ford van. Police a referring to the duo as "Mr. Clean" and "Ms. Dookie," and if anyone has any information regarding the incident, they are encouraged to call Detective Hannon at 863-499-2400 or email him at RHannon@polksheriff.org.

According to the New York Post, the accused shoplifters walked into the Mulberry store around noon on December 18, 2024. The man was captured on store surveillance rushing out of the store as his accomplice was seen walking out the store with a smirk on her face as employees stood stunned, looking on.
